SATURN IB AS203

$24.95

Fully assembled AS-203

This is an ant-scale or semi-scale model of the AS-203 Saturn IB. The completed model stands ~11.7 inches tall and uses 18 mm B's or C's best flights are with C6-7s, Some skill is required in building this model, but if you can read all of this without moving your lips, you can likely build this kit in a few days. Flights of up to 900 feet can be had.
AS-203 was a one-of-a-kind Saturn IB that was launched in order to test the S-IVB stage in orbit and study the effects of zero-G on liquid
hydrogen. For that reason it carried a nosecone instead of an Apollo spacecraft- and it was really cool looking. In test flights, our model with the same nosecone went straight up like it was on a rail and flew just under 1,000 feet. This kit is in scale with our other Dr. Zooch Saturn I and Saturn IB kits, so you can add it to your set.
Still paranoid about that moving your lips thing... aren't you?
